The CorpComms Awards 2017, which for the third year running are being held in association with creative agency Vista, are open for entry.

Now in their ninth year, the CorpComms Awards are recognised as one of the country’s leading programmes for communications professionals.

The awards scheme recognises the truly best campaigns and communications strategies that have been deployed by leading corporates, charities and public sector organisations over the year.

Last year Anglian Water picked up the Grand Prix and Best Internal Communications trophies for Cyber Safe - Don’t let them in, a campaign that highlighted the risks of cyber security, drawing on behavioural psychology and creativity, to engage and educate employees.

The four-man team at Rentokil Initial, led by director of corporate communications Malcolm Padley, picked up the trophy for
Best In-houseTeam, for an entry that clearly demonstrated teamwork and an awareness of their role in helping to deliver a 29 per cent increase in the company’s share price.

This year, the in-house team category has been further divided, in order to ensure that the judges are comparing like-for-like. We are now offering Best In-House Team - Corporate Communications; Best In-House Team - Internal Communications; and Best In-House Team - Media Relations.

Similarly, the annual report category has been sub-divided into four categories to ensure that unlisted companies, who may have a clearly defined objective, are not being compared with highly regulated FTSE 350 organisations, with bigger budgets and particular listing requirements to satisfy. The new categories are Best Annual Report: FTSE 350 organisations, listed organisations, unlisted organisations and online.

The CorpComms Awards 2017 close on 4 August.
