Microsoft has the friendliest, most socially connected employees, at least online

US technology company Microsoft has the most social media-savvy employees in the world, according to a survey by sales and marketing database, NetProspex.
Analysis of more than 100,000 business executives from the Fortune 1000 companies revealed that almost half have employees across their organisations on social networking forums.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, technology, software and media companies dominated the rankings, with Google, Amazon.com, eBay and Walt Disney Corp completing the top five.
Gary Halliwell, chief executive of NetProspex, encouraged sales teams to take advantage of this online presence. 'This presents a new opportunity for sales and marketing prospecting and lead generation, as strategies adapt to encompass the landscape of social networks.'
