VisitEngland creates online competition to make the most of a minute in England

English tourist board VisitEngland is rousing the country to find the best minute that can be spent in England's green and pleasant land as the spring installment of their 'Enjoy Every Minute; Enjoy England' campaign.
A recent online survey commissioned by the board found that Brits fear they are not making the most of their spare time and surroundings. Six out of ten say they don't know England as well as they would like and 68 per cent of Brits feel they fritter away much of their free time. However, 78 per cent of the country think that getting the most out of their weekends improves their mood for the rest of the week.
So Brits are being invited to enjoy at least a minute of England. Entrants upload a one-minute video of an archetypal English experience - be it Sunday football in the park, a barbeque in the rain or a minute at the races - onto the campaign's site. The submissions are then rated by members of the public and the winner will receive 10,000 minutes of holiday (roughly a week to the time traditionalists).
