No British companies on the list of 27 high-performing brands

Household names such as Amazon, Apple, Mercedes-Benz and Tiffany & Co have been named among the 27 'Great Brands of Tomorrow' in a report released by the Credit Suisse Research Institute.
But there are no British companies included on the list of brands that the institute believes will grow in scale and profitability over the next three to five years. And while most consumers will be familiar with names like Polo Ralph Lauren and Hyundai Motor, a high proportion of the brands are not household names. Lesser-known brands include Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Indian Hotels, and Zurich-based Julius Baer, a Swiss private banking group.
In addition, and perhaps unexpectedly, Facebook has made the cut but Twitter and Google are nowhere to be seen.
