Evian is once again embracing Wimbledon season by launching a tennis-themed social media campaign, Let’s Play.
The official water of the championships is inviting its 17,000 Twitter followers to take part in its latest microblogging campaign that aims to turn tennis fans’ tweets into tunes.
Wimbledon enthusiasts simply need to tweet the official account, @evianwater, with their thoughts on the matches and proceedings so far, using the hashtag #LetsPlay.
A group of singers will then reply with a unique Vine recording – all in tune, of course!
In response to one fan who tweeted: If you could build a giant tennis playing robot, what would it be like? #letsplay, the Evian singers replied in a rather robotic tone: Sharapovabot500. Winner of every Wimbletron Championships. It was accompanied with the tweet: The body, head & brain of @MariaSharapova. But titanium, 20ft high, with a laser racket.
Users of the #LetsPlay hashtag are also in with a chance of winning an Evian Wimbledon goodie bag.
