Peugeot is giving its fans a chance to show off their Twitter typing skills as they race online against its fastest production car.
Twitter users have been given the chance to win an ‘Ultimate Test Drive Experience’ simply by typing a 140 character tweet quicker than the time it takes the RCZ R to accelerate from standstill to 90mph on a racetrack.
To have a chance of winning the experience for two in Germany, the user simply needs to log on to the site using their Twitter account.
The user is then asked to prepare to type a tweet that will soon appear on their screen. It may sound simple, but to beat the RCZ R it has to be done in less than 11 seconds and only ten mistakes can be made.
Tweets such as This news just in: I almost won but on the final corner my fingers slipped and the 270bhp RCZ R took the lead and Beaten at the last moment! The 270bhp RCZ R is Peugeot’s fastest production car. Do you think you’re faster? #RCZRace are putting the users to the test.
To date, just three people have beaten the car. The current leader is Twitter user @fjson with a time of six seconds.
