Debenhams incentivises staff for Movember

Debenhams is urging employees to take part in Movember in a bid to raise awareness about prostate and testicular cancer.

Staff at 170 branches and head office sites in London and Taunton will be encouraged by the company to ditch their razors during the month of November and grow a 'Mo'.

As an incentive to encourage people to sign up to the campaign, the retailer will be offering 'Mo-Bros' free tea and coffee in all Debenhams restaurants and cafes throughout the month.
 
The company will also be offering staff 15 per cent off menswear brand Red Herring on 23 November to reward them for their efforts.
 
The campaign is all part of the retailer's new charity strategy which has seen the creation of the Debenhams Foundation, support for BBC Children in Need and the launch of 'Think Pink', its own breast cancer initiative. 
 
Head of PR Ed Watson said: 'We can think of no better way of raising awareness and funds for male cancers than growing a Mo, a moustache is a very visual way of showing support. Look out for Mos on men in all of our stores across November'.
