British Airways has launched its own Google+ site, which it hopes will serve as an 'inspiration and innovation hub'.
The airline says its Google+ page has been designed to be a space where aeroplane enthusiasts can share content.
British Airways is one of just a handful of major British brands to have a presence on Google+.
Richard Bowden, digital innovations manager at British Airways, said: 'We've always sought to innovate, be that through our onboard cabins, the way we serve our customers or with new technology and that extends to how we talk to our customers and get their views on what we do. We don't want to just talk at them, we want to know what they think of our ideas and to hear theirs.'
British Airways is making efforts to embrace new technology, and last year it supplied 2,000 of its cabin crew staff with iPads in an effort to enhance customer service. The airline company also rolled out a Facebook 'Perfect Days' app last year, which allowed users to design their own version of a perfect day in any location around the world.
