Club sees ten per cent growth in following this month

Top of the Premier League Manchester City Football Club has seen the fastest growth in Facebook likes of all the British teams this month, according to research from digital marketing agency Freestyle Interactive.
The team saw its number of Likes increase by more than ten per cent to almost 1.4 million. Manchester United still has the top share of Facebook Likes with more than 20 million.
Earlier this month the Manchester City team projected tweets sent by fans onto large screens at the club's Etihad Stadium.
West Bromwich Albion has recorded the fastest percentage growth on Twitter over the same period, rising by almost 900 followers but tweeting fewer than 250 times.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been the most active tweeters so far this month, tweeting more than 2,500 times.
Arsenal has the most Twitter followers, with more than one million, while Swansea and Manchester United have none. Arsenal also faired well on Facebook, with the second most Likes which amounted to more than eight million.
Wigan recorded the fewest Facebook likes, with just more than 5,280.
