A bad week for bullies but a good week for everyone else

Is it me or is there a lot of talk about bullying at the moment?
It's not you. It's National Anti Bullying Week. Although somewhat confusingly it's now been extended to last a whole month.
Sounds like a good idea. Who is behind it?
Anti-Bullying Alliance launched Anti-Bullying Week in 2004.
What does the alliance do?
The alliance educates children about issues relating to bullying. Actionwork is one of the members of the Anti-Bullying Alliance and it takes anti-bullying roadshows to schools up and down the country, using theatre, film and entertainment to highlight issues relating to bullying.
How can people support it?
Well people have been getting involved on social media, and Twitter users have been tweeting their support along with the #AntiBullyingWeek hashtag.
Who has been getting involved?
Twitter lover Stephen Fry has been tweeting from his @stephenfry account.
That's pretty good going.
Yes, he's got more than three million followers, which should help spread the word.
Who else is getting in on the social media action?
Lots of organisations: Family Lives, Bullying UK, Beat Bullying and DirectGov are just a few that have been tweeting away.
How is this year different to other years?
This year the campaign is focusing on verbal bullying.
