Bank puts out plea for torch bearers who have 'inspiring' stories

Lloyds Banking Group is looking for torchbearers from the UK to carry the the Paralympic flame ahead of the 2012 Paralympic Games.
Nominations are being sought from all corners of the UK, with the public being called upon to recognise the inspiring people they know. Individuals can nominate disabled people who have achieved personal success in sport, teachers who promote sports for those with disabilities, family carers or fundraisers for the disabled.
Successful torchbearers will work in teams of five to carry the flame on its journey to the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Nominations can be made online via from now until 22 November.
Thousands of nominations were made when the bank invited the public to nominate torchbearers for the Olympic torch relay in its recent nationwide campaign.
To mark the launch of its Paralympic torch relay nomination campaign, the bank has commissioned a set of images featuring Paralympians and future stars of British Paralympics team together with the people who have supported them.
Torch relays will take place in Belfast, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Stoke Mandeville.
