A new gaming app allows Twitter users to vent their frustrations

A new interactive gaming app that allows Twitter users to take their frustrations out when they are faced with mindless tweets and trending hashtags has been launched.
The 'Tweet Hunter' app is similar in style to the popular 'Angry Birds' app, and the user must aim and fire at the cartoon birds with a slingshot. Each bird corresponds to a genuine tweet that has been posted to the site at some point, but not just any tweet. The tweet will be one that is deemed pointless or just plain irritating. Even 'Bieber fever' has spread to Twitter, and hashtags relating to him feature on the app.
Today, one Twitter user tweeted: 'I do not care what anyone says anti-bieber #ILOVEBIEBER @justinbieber'.
Tweet Hunter is free in the 'Classic' version, and 'Celebirdies' costs 99 cents. Celebirdies has added features, and rewards extra points for hits to celebrity 'birdies', such as actor Charlie Sheen and other popular celebrity tweeters.
The app is designed for those who love gaming, but especially for those who are fed up with nonsense tweets that plague the social networking site.
