Unilever has created the Lynx Stream, a mobile phone app that allows users to capture the real-time social networking elements of their nights out.

The Lynx Stream collects every video, picture, tweet, check-in and status updates that a group of friends send during a night out.

The app then produces an automatic stream of the night and highlight video, which can be watched online and shared through social networking sites.

The free to download app claims 'creating a Lynx Stream is the most fun you can have with a phone in your hand'.

Users create a special page for an upcoming event and invite friends from their phone book to join their Stream.

The Lynx Stream will also act as a media channel in future brand and product campaigns.
