A new iPhone app has been launched by Visit Cardiff that allows tourists to explore the Welsh capital city and virtually discover all that it has to offer before they even get there.
For just £1.19, the Official Cardiff Visitor Guide App offers a service that shows tourists the sights to visit, what they can do when they get there and even advises on the best places to wine and dine. All venues can be located by GPS.
This interactive guide, which is regularly updated, is already proving popular with visitors. One said: 'Every city needs one.'
Cardiff residents are also enjoying the new app. A local, who calls themselves Applebanana82, posted a comment to the official iTunes website: 'Even tho (sic) I live in Cardiff this app is great for finding out what's on in city as well as places to go out,' he said. 'Directions are useful, especially as there is both road and walking routes. Good for Cardiff where you can walk most places.'
