Just weeks after the Catholic Church launched a confessional app, the American Association of Nude Recreation in Kissimmee, which has 50,000 members, has launched a free 'Nakation' app on iPhone.
But those looking for naked gems will be disappointed as the association has a strict rule of covering up for all public literature.
Instead, the app is designed to 'educate and inform society of the value and enjoyment' of nudity and nude recreation. It offers information on local clubs, frequently asked questions (such as 'I enjoy sunning and skinny dipping in my own pool, why should I join AANR?') and news about the association.
But while some customers have already praised the app for helping them with their summer road trips, at least one has complained that there are no GPS and 'near me' capabilities.
