Ted Baker creates world's first Twitter-operated styling studio

Louisa Coward is the editorial intern at CorpComms Magazine

British clothing retailer Ted Baker is holding a live fashion styling on Twitter to publicise the launch of its US online store.
Top fashion bloggers will style male and female models with looks from the Ted Baker autumn/winter collections remotely using nothing but tweets... and a team of on-site professional stylists.
On Friday, the eight bloggers will each have 15 minutes to style two themed looks via tweeted directions to a team comprising a hair stylist, a make-up artist and three runners with the tag #TakeOnTed. The public will then have an opportunity to edit the virtual styles.
The finished looks will be photographed in a studio and then posted on Ted Baker's social media channels. The stylist creating the most popular look will win a $500 (£310) gift card to spend at the Ted Baker online outlet.
