CIPR extends the hand of fellowship

Louisa Coward is the editorial intern at CorpComms Magazine

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations has announced its 2010 Fellowships.
Twelve PR practitioners will received the institute's highest honour, which is awarded in recognition of outstanding work in public relations and service to the CIPR.
The class of 2010 includes the head of press and media relations at the BBC, the director of group media relations at BAE Systems and the permanent secretary for government communications at the Cabinet Office.
Jay O'Connor, president of the CIPR, said: 'I am delighted to award these 12 individuals Fellowship of the Institute in recognition of their contribution to the PR profession and the work of the CIPR, and in recognition of their individual achievements.'
