Lloyds TSB looks to rebrand

Lloyds Banking Group is looking to rebrand its retail bank Lloyds TSB as Lloyds Bank over the next three years.
The bank has gone under a variety of hats in recent years, taking on Lloyds TSB in response to its 1995 merger with the Trustee Savings Bank, moving to Lloyds Banking Group after the acquisition of HBOS and now, in accordance with restructuring conditions laid down by the European Commission, divesting the TSB brand name to become simply Lloyds Bank.
The name will be rolled across the majority of its branches, products and services before the end of 2013.
Graham Lindsay, managing director of customer experience at Lloyds Banking Group said: 'This is the first step in our planned journey to the new Lloyds Bank brand. We are introducing the new brand on a phased basis over the course of the next few years. This minimises disruption to our customers and ensures that we make the change in the most cost effective way possible.'
